How to Make Sweet Aval Recipe

Ingredients:

Cup = 200 ml)

Cup Aval (Poha)

Cup Palm Jaagerry (Karuppati)

tblsp roasted channa

tblsp Moong dal

tblsp sesame seeds

tblsp Ghee

Cup Water

Piece dry ginger crushed
3 cardamom crushed
3 cardamom crushed
Method:
- Wash Aval 2 to 3 times and drain the water completely and keep aside
- In
a pan heat ½ cup of water add jaggery to it. when it dissolves add Cardamom and dry
ginger powder and boil it 2 to 3 minutes
- Filter the jaggery syrub for remove the impurity and keep aside
- In a pan add 2 tblsp ghee and roasted channa fry it till turns golden brown and keep aside
- Add Moong dal fry it till turns golden brown and keep aside
- Add sesame seeds fry it till starts color change
- Add Coconut bits fry it till turns golden brown
- Pour the all fried ingredients over the aval
- Finally pour the palm jaggery syrub over the aval and mix well
- Let it sit for 7 to 8 hours. Aval absorbs the palm jaggery syrub and get soft & sweet
- Serve the sweet aval and enjoy
