Rava Kesari recipe

How to Make Rava Kesari

Rava kesari or kesari bath with detailed photo. Rava kesari is the popular sweet in the south Indian. which is prepared from rava | semolina for breakfast or any festival.


 Ingredients:

1 Cup Rava Sooji
2 Cup Sugar
3 Cup Water
4 Cardamoms
15 cashews
6 Batham
½ Pinch food color or saffron
6 tblsp Ghee

Method:


1.       In a pan add 1 tblsp ghee and cashews, roast it on low heat till turns golden brown
2.      In the same pan add batham, roast it on low heat till gets crispy
3.      In the same pan add rava, roast it on low heat till rava gets color change
4.      In the Same pan, Add 3 cup of water , food color and crushed cardamoms
5.      When water start to boil add roasted rava, little by little on low heat and do mix simultaneously. Don’t gets lump
6.      Add sugar little by little on low heat and mix well
7.      Finally add roasted cashews, batham and remaining ghee. Mix well
8.     Now the rava kesari is ready. Serve immediately
