Seeni Avarakai Poriyal Recipe | Kothavarangai Poriyal recipe | Cluster Beans Fry Recipe – Version 2

Ingredients:
250 gram Kothavarangai(Cluster Beans)
2 onion,Chopped as lengthy wise
¼ Cup Grated Coconut (4 tblsp)
1 tblsp chilly powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
4 tblsp raw peanuts
Salt to taste
100 ml Water

To Tempering:
1 Tsp Mustard seeds
1 Sprig Curry leaves
1 Tblsp Cooking  Oil

Preparation:
Cut 2 edges of kothavarangai, wash them and cut as lengthy wise pieces and keep aside

Method:
  1. Heat a pan, add 4 tblsp raw peanuts and fry them till turns brown
  2. Transfer fried peanuts to the mixi jar, grinded as nice powder
  3. In the same pan, add 1 tblsp oil and Mustard seeds
  4. When mustard seeds crackle, add Curry leaves and Onion. Sauté it till onion gets transparent
  5. Add Chilly powder and turmeric powder,mix well
  6. Add kothavarangai and water,mix well
  7. Close the lid and let it cook till the kothavarangai cooks half
  8. Add grinded peanut powder,grated coconut and needed salt,mix well
  9. Close the lid and let it cook on low heat for 5 minutes
  10. Serve Kothavarangai poriyal with rice and sambar

Serve Kothavarangai poriyal with rice and sambar
