Soya gravy recipe | Meal maker gravy recipe

Ingredients:
100 Gram Soya
1 Onion, Finely Chopped
1 Bayleaf
2 Piece Cinnamons
2 Cardamoms
3 Cloves
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tblsp Chilly Powder
1 tblsp Coriander powder
2 tblsp oil
Salt as needed
Water as needed

For Grinding:
2 Onion, Chopped
3 small size Tomato
4 tblsp grated coconut
1 tblsp pepper
1 piece Ginger
5 Garlic cloves
1 tblsp oil

For garnishing:
coriander leaves

Preparation:
Transfer the Ginger and garlic to the blender, grind it then keep aside

Gravy Masala preparation:
1.       In a pan add 1 tblsp oil and add onion, sauté it till gets transparent
2.      Add Tomato, sauté it till gets mushy
3.      Transfer the fried ingredients to the blender along with coconut and pepper, grind it as a smooth paste. Transfer to the bowl and keep aside.

Soya preparation:
1.       In a bowl add 3 cup of water and do boil. switch off the flame
2.      Add soya into the boiled water let them leave till the soya get soften
3.      When the soya gets soften drain and squeeze the water completely from soya
4.      Furthermore rinse them in cold water and squeeze the excess water from soya
5.      Cut the soya as 2 pieces if you using bigger size soya

Gravy
1.       In a pan add 2 tblsp oil, then add Cloves, Cinnamons, Cardamoms, Bay leaves,fennel seeds. Sauté it on low heat for a minute
2.      Add Onion and sauté it till onion gets transparent
3.      Add ginger & garlic paste, sauté it till raw smell go away
4.      Add Gravy masala and sauté it for a minute (Don’t fry long time because its already fried)
5.      Add Chilly powder, coriander powder. Mix well
6.      Add soya and mix well
7.      Add required water and salt let cook till the soya cooks with masala
8.     Serve soya gravy with chappathi or Naan  or Fried rice or thengai pal sadam

Step by Step Pictorial:

 Drain and squeeze the water completely from soya
Furthermore rinse them in cold water

Masala paste ready
In a pan add 2 tblsp oil, then add Cloves, Cinnamons, Cardamoms, Bayleaves,fennel seeds. Sauté them on low heat for a minute
Add Onion
Sauté it till onion gets transparent
Add ginger & garlic paste
Saute it till the ginger&garlic raw smell disappear
Add Grinded masala paste
Add Chilly and coriander powder
Add soya
Add required water and salt.close the lid and let it cook for masala smell disappear
Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve soya gravy with chappathi or Naan  or Fried rice or thengai pal sadam
