Ingredients:
(1 Cup = 150ml)
1 Cup Broken Red rice flour (Broken Sivapuarisi)
10 Raisins
10 Cashews
4 tblsp grated coconut
2 tblsp Ghee
3 tblsp sugar or palm jaggery
1 cup water

Method:
1.       In a pot add 1 cup water(150 ml), heat a water and switch off the flame
2.      Add broken red rice flour in hot water and mix well. Close the lid and let it sit for 5 minutes
3.      After 5 minutes the red rice flour is sprinkled, the quantity of red rice puttu mavu will be 3 times bigger than actual one
4.      Add 1 tblsp ghee to puttu and mix well
5.      Meanwhile in a pan add 1 tblsp ghee and cashews, fry them till turns brown
6.      In the same pan add raisins and fry them till turns bigger in size
7.      Add fried cashews, raisins, grated coconut and sugar to the puttu then mix well
8.     Serve the red rice puttu

Pictorials:

Serve the red rice puttu and enjoy 


My notes:
  1. Add 1:1 proportion of red rice flour and water ratio(don’t add extra water)
  2. The same cup should be used while you measuring red rice flour and water
