Ingredients:
(1
cup = 200 ml)
2
Cup Rice flour
1
Cup jaggery
20
coconut bits

tblsp sesame seeds
1
tblsp ghee
4
crushed cardamom
Water
as needed
Method:
(1
cup = 200 ml)
1. Heat a pan add 1 tblsp
ghee and coconut bits, fry them on low heat till turns golden brown
2. In the same pan add sesame
seeds, fry it on low heat till it will gets crackle
3. In a pot add jaggery and
3/4 cup water, let it heat on low flame till jaggery dissolve completely
4. Filter the jaggery and set aside
5. In wide pot add 2 cup of rice flour and
fried sesame seeds, coconut bits and crushed cardamom
6. Add filtered jaggery syrub, then knead it
slightly
7. Take small potion of dough and press to
make your finger impression in the Kozhukattai
8. Repeat the same process for remaining
dough
9. Place them in steamer plate. I used the
idly plates
10. Close the lid and let it cook till the Kozhukattai
cooks well
11. Enjoy with sweet pidi Kozhukattai
