Siru Parupu Payasam | Moong dal Payasam
Pasi parupu payasam is also the quick and tastiest dessert recipe. You can prepare very quickly. Which is prepared with Main ingredients Moong dal, jaggery and javvarisi (sago). We can prepare this various occasion and festivals

Ingredients:

gram siru parupu(moong dal)
75
gram Javvarisi(sago)
200 gram jaggery (as per your sweet preference)

crushed cardamom

Method:
(1
cup = 200 ml)
1. In a pot add moong dal
and 1 cup water, let it cook on low flame till dal gets mushy
2. In another pot add
javvarisi and 1 cup water, let it cook on low flame till sago turns transparent
3. In another pot add
jaggery and 1 cup water, let it heat on low flame till jaggery dissolve
completely
4. Filter the jaggery and set aside
5. Heat a pan add 1 tblsp ghee and add
cashews and batham, sauté them till turns brown
6. Add raisins and fry them till turns
bubble
7. In the same pan add 1 tblsp ghee and add
coconut bits, fry them till turns golden brown
8. Now mix all ingredients together
9. In wide bowl add filtered jaggery syrub,
moong dal and javvarisi. Mix well and let them cook for 10 minutes on low heat
10. Add crushed cardamom and dry ginger
11. Add fried coconut, raisins, batham,
cashews, then mix well
12. Enjoy with siruparupu payasam

Now mix all
ingredients together
In a wide bowl add filtered jaggery syrub
Add Cooked Moong dal
Mix well
Add Cooked javvarisi (sago)
Mix well and add crushed cardamom and dry ginger, let them cook for 5 minutes on low flame
Add fried coconut bites
Add fried cashews, batham and raisins, then mix well
Pasiparupu payasam ready
Serve pasiparupu payasam and enjoy
