Thakkali Katti Chutney Recipe In Hotel style
This thakali chutney is different taste and we can prepare very quickly. its made with main ingredients tomato, onion, coconut and spices. we can have with idly, dosa , pongal etc

Ingredients:
(1
cup = 100 ml)
1
Onion big size, chopped
2
tomato, medium size, chopped
1
cup grated coconut
2
Garlic
2
Green chillies
1
tblsp cooking oil
Salt
as needed
Water
as needed
For tempering:
½
tblsp cooking oil
1
tsp urad dal
1
tsp mustard seeds
1
sprig curry leaves
Method:
1. In a pot add water and tomato and let it cook
for 5 minutes. switch off the flame and let it cool. once down remove tomato
skin and keep aside
2. Heat a pan add 1 tblsp oil, add onion,
garlic, green chilies sauté for 5 minutes
3. Add tomato and coconut, sauté for a
minutes
4. Let it cool for a minutes
5. Transfer all the fried ingredients to
mixi jar. Grind them as fine paste
6. Transfer grinded chutney to the bowl
7. Meanwhile in a pan add ½ tblsp oil and
mustard seeds and urad dal
8. When mustard seeds crackle add curry
leaves
9. Pour the tempering over the chutney and
mix well
10. Serve the Thakkali katti chutney with
idly or dosa
