Gluten Free | Vendakkai Poriyal Recipe | Ladies Finger Fry Recipe

Vendakkai fry is the perfect side dish for curd rice and sambar and rice. This recipe preparing with main ingredients vendakkai and spices. vendakkai recipe is giving different taste since the vendakkai cooks with spices

Ingredients:
Vendakkai 250 gram, silted
1 tblsp Chilly powder(Vathal podi)
1 tblsp Coriander powder(Kothamalli podi)
1 tsp Turmeric powder(Majal thool)
1 tsp Pepper powder(Milagu)
1 tsp cumin powder(Jeeragam)
3 tblsp Cooking oil
Salt as per taste

For Grinding:
6 Dry chillies(vathal)
2 tblsp channa dal(Kadalai paruppu)

Method:
1.      wash and clean the vendakkai, cut two edges of vendakkai and slit them as shown in picture then keep aside
2.     Meanwhile Heat a pan add channa dal and dry chillies, fry till raw smell goes away. switch off the flame and let it cool
3.     once they cool, transfer channa dal and dry chillies to mixi jar, grind them as coarse powder and keep aside
4.     In a bowl transfer the silted vendakkai and add chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt, mix well. then add grinded coarse powder and mix well
5.     In same pan add 3 tblsp oil and add vendakkai, close the lid and let it cook on low heat till the masala raw smell goes away
6.     Serve the vendakkai fry with sambar with rice or curd rice

Transfer to mixi
Grind them as coarse powder
Transfer silted vendakkai to plate, add chilly powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and salt 
Mix well
Add Grinded coarse powder
Mix well
In the same pan add 3 tblsp cooking oil
Add vendakkai
Close the lid and let it cook masala raw smell goes away
Vendakkai cooked well
Serve the Vendakkai fry with sambar rice or curd rice
