Ingredients:
(1 Cup = 100 gram)

1 Cup Channa
1 Tomato, Medium size
1 Carrot
½ Cucumber (Vellarikai)
1 Onion, Medium Size
2 tsp crushed pepper
Salt as needed

Preparation:

Wash tomato, cut as small pieces and keep aside.Peel the skin of carrot, cucumber and onion. Then wash them and cut as small pieces keep aside.

Method:
  1. Soak channa in water for 7 to 8 hours. After 8 hours drain the water completely from bowl and transfer it to the cooker along with required salt. Cover the lid for 2 whistles.
  2. Once the pressure cooker settle down open the cooker drain the water from channa and transfer to the bowl
  3. Pour all vegetables over the cooked channa and mix well
  4. Add 2 tsp crushed pepper and required salt. Mix well
  5. Serve the Channa salad with tea

My notes:
You can add 2 tsp chat masala, if you like that taste
You can garnish with coriander leaves
