Ingredients:

Cup Channa

Tomato, Medium size

Carrot

Cucumber (Vellarikai)

Onion, Medium Size

tsp crushed pepper
Salt
as needed
Preparation:
Wash tomato, cut as small pieces and keep aside.Peel
the skin of carrot, cucumber and onion. Then wash them and cut as small pieces
keep aside.
Method:
- Soak channa in water for 7 to 8 hours. After 8 hours drain the water completely from bowl and transfer it to the cooker along with required salt. Cover the lid for 2 whistles.
- Once the pressure cooker settle down open the cooker drain the water from channa and transfer to the bowl
- Pour all vegetables over the cooked channa and mix well
- Add 2 tsp crushed pepper and required salt. Mix well
- Serve the Channa salad with tea
