onion. Pavakkai treat or prevent the diabetes.Its good for diabetes patient

Ingredients:
1 Pavakkai (Big size),Chopped
1 onion,Finely Chopped
2 Green chilies,silted
¼ Cup Grated Coconut (4 tblsp)
Salt to taste
To Tempering:
1 Tsp Mustard seeds
1 Sprig Curry leaves
4 Tblsp Cooking Oil
To Grinding
3 Garlic
½ tsp Cumin seeds(Jeeragam)
Preparation:
Add Garlic and Cumin seeds to Mixi jar.
grind it as paste and keep aside
Method:
1. Heat a pan, add 4 tblsp oil and Mustard seeds
2. When mustard seeds crackle, add Curry leaves,green chilies
and Onion. Sauté it till onion gets transparent
3. Add Pavakkai and mix well
4. Close the lid and let it cook on low heat until the Pavakkai
cooks well
5. Add grinding Cumin and garlic paste, mix well
6. Add grated Coconut and salt. let it cook for a minutes
7. Serve Pavakkai poriyal with rice and sambar
Step by Step Pictorial Instructions:
Heat a

My notes:
- Don’t add water when you cook any poriyal
- You should cook on low heat when you cook the poriyal otherwise the vegetables will be burnt
