ingredients Banana stem and onion.

Ingredients:
200 gram Valai thandu(Banana stem), Chopped
1 onion, Finely Chopped
2 Green chilies silted
¼ Cup Coconut Grated
Salt to taste
To Tempering:
1 Tsp Mustard seeds
1 Sprig Curry leaves
2 Tblsp Cooking Oil
To Grinding
3 Garlic
½ tsp Cumin seeds(Jeeragam)
Preparation:
Add Garlic and Cumin seeds to Mixi jar.
grind it as paste and keep aside
Method:
1. Heat a pan, add 2 tblsp oil and Mustard seeds
2. When mustard seeds crackle, add Curry leaves,green chilies
and Onion. Sauté it till onion gets transparent
3. Add Valai thandu and mix well
4. Close the lid and let it cook on low heat until the Valai
thandu cooks well
5. Add grinding Cumin and garlic paste,mix well
6. Add grated Coconut and salt. let it cook for a minutes
7. Serve Valai thandu poriyal with rice and sambar or any puli kulambu
Step by Step Pictorial Instructions
